Good Shepherd Mission

Good Shepherd Ministries of Oklahoma, Inc. is a multifaceted ministry that seeks to provide services such as food, clothing, and limited medical, dental, and pharmacy help, to the needy of the Oklahoma City area. “The Mission,” as it has been affectionately called over the years, provides free dental care to adults and children, through three separate dental clinics.

On Monday evenings during the school year, dental students and faculty volunteers provide simple tooth extractions and examinations to adult in pain. Every other Tuesday evening, dental students, dental hygiene students, and private community volunteers provide a broad range of preventive and restorative dentistry to needy children under age 12. Every other Thursday evening, local private community volunteers provide tooth extraction services to the Hispanic community of the city’s south side, through a partner, Lighthouse Medical Ministries.

Dr. Frank Lipsinic is the Faculty Coordinator for the College of Dentistry, and Good Shepherd’s Dental Director, Dr. Teresa Davis, is the Children’s Clinic Coordinator.

Informational questions should be directed to Mary Ramirez, Good Shepherd Ministries Director, at (405) 232-8631.
