    Advanced Business Management for Dentists

    "Run Your Practice Like a Business, Think Like a CEO" teaches dentists how to mine the management and valuation information found in their own year-end financial statements and to optimize their return on one of their greatest assets - their practice! This four hour course teaches dentists the methods to determine their own financial viability and the impact of their business decisions. The course is about taking control, having a plan and reducing the over all stress of operating a practice.

Faculty Lecture Series

The Faculty Lecture Series program offers one- to two-hour evening presentations by faculty to local dental societies and study clubs. Arrangements for these presentations can be made by contacting Dr. Stephen Young by phone at (405) 271-5444 or by e-mail to Dr. Stephen Young. Honorariums for Faculty Lecture Series presentations are in the form of contributions to the J. Dean Robertson Society.

Presentations by Faculty

Requests to faculty for presentations over two hours of duration or during the daytime or on week-ends should be made directly to the academic department or the individual faculty member. The honorarium is paid directly to the presenter(s) and the amount should be arranged in advance.

Visiting Scholar Program

The J. Dean Robertson Society sponsors an annual award to a prominent dental educator. As part of this event, the visiting scholar will present a four- to six-hour continuing education program that is open to all oral health professionals in the state. Announcements are usually disseminated approximately two months prior to the presentation. Information regarding future visits can be obtained from Dr. John Dmytryk, Associate Dean for Research Development, who coordinates the Visiting Scholar Program.
