The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is comprised of seven colleges, three hospitals, multiple research facilities, and various healthcare agencies.
From its inception in 1971, the College of Dentistry has established a reputation of educating skilled practitioners to provide the highest level of dental care possible. Each of the dental education programs offered by the College is designed to develop professionals who are well prepared for the challenges and demands of their chosen area of dentistry. The curriculum encourages problem solving and critical thinking, while providing the knowledge, technical proficiency and clinical experience needed to enter current practice and assume roles as responsible health care professionals.
