Dr. Kaenploy joined the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2023, where she serves as an educator and clinician. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2016. Following her DDS, Dr. Kaenploy continued her post-graduate education at Chulalongkorn, obtaining a Diploma in Clinical Sciences of Prosthodontics.

In pursuit of further specialization, Dr. Kaenploy moved to the United States to continue her education in Prosthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo). In 2023, she earned a Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics, as well as a master’s degree in Biomaterials. Throughout her studies, she received numerous awards and grants, including clinical and research grants from Nobel Biocare, a renowned implant company. She was also awarded a scholarship for her biomaterials master’s degree and the William M. Feagans Clinical Postgraduate Scholarship, along with the UB Excellence in Research, Scholarship & Creativity Award.

Her early accomplishments in research were recognized when the American College of Prosthodontists selected Dr. Kaenploy as one of six finalists for the John J. Sharry Prosthodontics Research Competition. She earned second place at the 2023 Annual Conference.

Dr. Kaenploy’s research interests are focused on digital dentistry, esthetic dentistry, implantology, and dental materials. She has published and co-authored research in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Prosthodontics, the official journal of the American College of Prosthodontists. In 2024, she was awarded the OU Faculty Pilot Grant to continue her research on dental implantology.

Dr. Kaenploy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. She also serves as the Secretary of the Oklahoma Section of the American College of Prosthodontists. At the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, she teaches pre-doctoral students in both pre-clinical and clinical courses. Additionally, she maintains a clinical practice at the OU faculty practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
