Digital Radiography
Digital radiography captures a patient’s radiograph digitally instead of using traditional film. Utilization of this technology reduces patient radiation exposure and allows immediate image viewing. This technology is critical in the practice of dentistry today.
Implant Training and Technology
This program will advance your knowledge and experience in both implant placement techniques and technology. Our goal is to prepare the resident to incorporate implant dentistry in their private practice and to be able to communicate with specialties throughout the treatment process.
Intraoral Camera
The resident will learn how to utilize the intraoral camera as a teaching tool to help gain case acceptance. This diagnostic piece of equipment will aid in evaluating and diagnosing dental problems.
CAD/CAM
CAD/CAM restorations are rapidly becoming an alternative to traditional cast restorations. Residents will gain experience in proper case selection for the use of these restorations. Furthermore, you will learn to design your case and mill the case in our clinic. This system allows a crown to be fabricated and bonded in the same appointment.
Digital Impressions
Our program utilizes both digital and traditional impression techniques in treating patients.
Endodontic Microscope
It is important for a resident to be able treat more complex endodontic cases. Utilization of the microscope will allow the student resident to view and treat complex endodontic canal systems that often face a clinician. The resident will work with an Endodontist to gain a better understanding and utilization of this technology.
