Pediatric Dentistry Residency Application Process

At-a-Glance:

Applications are to be submitted via ADEA PASS.
Eligibility: Admission is open to US citizens, permanent US residents (Green Card holders) and Canadian Citizens 

Program Start Date: 

July 1st of each year

Application Deadline:

October 15th of the year prior to the intended start date

Application Requirements:

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements to be considered for admission:

  • US citizenship, US permanent resident (Green Card holder) or Canadian citizenship
  • A DDS or DMD degree from a CODA- or CDAC-accredited dental school
  • Undergraduate transcripts from all insitutions attended
  • Dental school transcripts [A minimum cumulative dental school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is suggested.]
  • DAT scores
  • Three (3) ADEA PASS PEF Evaluation Forms.
  • Passage of the INBDE, or NBDE Part I and Part II
  • ADAT not required, but official ADAT scores received by the application deadline will be strongly considered  
  • Personal interview in Oklahoma City, OK (upon invitation)
  • Eligibility for Oklahoma Dental Resident Limited License prior to start of residency

Personal Interviews:

Invitations to participate in a required, on-site interview in Oklahoma City will be extended to selected applicants. These interviews will generally be held on the third Saturday in November (with a social the night before).
