The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.
This position is available for both full-time and part-time candidates, offering flexibility and work-life balance. As a Dental Hygienist at NDS, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring their overall comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride applications. Conduct oral health assessments, including medical history review, vital signs, and periodontal charting. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if licensed and applicable). Take and process dental radiographs. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional care. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene. Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Oklahoma. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to patient care and education. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and organized.
