We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Tamara S. Berg, a 1995 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and a generous donor, has been elected as the Second Vice President of the American Dental Association (ADA). This significant honor reflects Dr. Berg’s long-standing commitment to the field of dentistry and her dedication to advancing the profession.

In her new role, Dr. Berg will serve on the ADA's Board of Trustees, where she will be a crucial voice in representing ADA members and supporting key initiatives. As Second Vice President, her responsibilities include liaising between the Board and ADA councils, assisting in policy development, supporting ADA's strategic initiatives, and advising on pivotal decisions impacting the dental community. This position is not only an esteemed honor but often a pathway to further leadership roles within the ADA, potentially leading to a presidency.

Dr. Berg’s dedication to dentistry spans nearly 30 years in private practice, where she has firsthand experience with the challenges faced by today’s dental professionals. Beyond her professional expertise, Dr. Berg has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the Oklahoma Dental Association and President of the American Association of Women Dentists. She has also served as a delegate to the ADA for 14 years and chaired multiple committees. Her dedication to organized dentistry has been evident through her extensive involvement at the local, state, and national levels.
