Dr. Janna McIntosh is a dedicated pediatric dentist with over two decades of experience in providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care to children. Since August 2002, she has been the founder and sole practitioner at the McAlester Children's Dental Clinic in McAlester, Oklahoma. 

Her career in dentistry began at the Wewoka Indian Health Clinic in Wewoka, Oklahoma, where she served as a staff dental officer from August 1991 to March 1993. Dr. McIntosh then expanded her expertise by joining the Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service Area Office from March 1993 to June 1996, where she excelled as a dental disease prevention officer and assistant area dental officer.

Eager to further her education, Dr. McIntosh pursued a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, from July 1996 to June 1998. There, she honed her skills in specialized pediatric dental care, laying the foundation for her future endeavors.

Returning to Oklahoma, Dr. McIntosh joined the team at Lawton Indian Hospital, where she served as a staff pediatric dentist from July 1998 to August 2002. During her tenure, she provided vital dental services to communities across Lawton, Anadarko, and El Reno, further solidifying her reputation as a compassionate and skilled practitioner.

In March 2018, Dr. McIntosh embraced the opportunity to share her expertise with the next generation of dentists as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, in Oklahoma City. Over a year, from March 2018 to May 2019, she inspired and mentored aspiring dental professionals, imparting her wealth of knowledge and experience.
