Prospective Students

The OU College of Dentistry is home to the state of Oklahoma’s only Doctor of Dental Surgery degree program and Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. In addition, the College of Dentistry also provides graduate and residency programs in advanced general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Mary Hamburg is a 2008 graduate of the OU College of Dentistry, where she also received her periodontal and implant specialty training. She has served the Oklahoma City metro area as a board-certified periodontitis for 10 years. She is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association Board of Trustees, currently serving as Editor for the ODA Journal. She has also served as an executive board member of the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentist and is a member of the American Association of Women Dentist. She was an Assistant Clinical Professor in OUCOD’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry for 3 years before becoming the Interim Director in 2021. She lives in Norman, OK with her husband Dustin and their boys: Daxton (9) and Caden (6).
