Student Care Clinics

Thank you for your interest in becoming a patient in the student program at the OU College of Dentistry. You are helping to train Oklahoma's next generation of dentists. The Student Care Clinics offer quality care with cutting-edge technology, where treatment is closely supervised by faculty dentists and specialists. Patients may be seen in the Dental Hygiene Clinic, Pediatric (Children's) Clinic or Adult Clinic.

Whether in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, there are guidelines that individuals wanting to become patients should be aware of:

  • OU College of Dentistry fees are normally 40 – 60% lower than private practice fees.
  • Patients should be available to make regular appointments during daytime hours.
  • Most procedures will have a duration of 3 hours.
  • Patients are expected to pay for services before the procedure is performed.
  • Patients may qualify for Patient Assistance Funding for non-covered services.

If a patient cannot adhere to any of the above requirements, they may be better suited for care from the Specialty Care Clinics or Faculty Clinic. There are also resources for free and low-cost providers at this link

If a patient can adhere to the above requirements, please complete the Prospective Patient Form below:

Infants (ages 1-2)

The Infant Oral Health Program provides low-cost care to infants and toddlers and teaches parents preventive measures to raise their infants and toddlers to have healthy mouths and teeth.
