The OU College of Dentistry offers various types of care.  Use the links below for more information about the different types of care offered at the OU College of Dentistry.  

Student Provided Care for Adults

In the student program, patients are treated by dental students under the direct supervision of faculty.  Patients in one of the student clinics receive low-cost quality care in an educational environment.

Student Provided Care for Children

In the pediatric program, patients ages four to 12 are treated by dental students under the direct supervision of faculty.  Patients in one of the student clinics receive low-cost quality care in an educational environment.

Resident Provided Care

After obtaining their dental license, dental school graduates may be selected to participate in an advanced/residency program in which they gain additional education and experience in a specialty or general dentistry. The four graduate programs at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry are Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Graduate Orthodontics, Graduate Periodontics, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Faculty Provided Care

OU Dentistry Faculty Practice is a group dental practice, and the providers are professors at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  

Emergency Care

Emergency care is available for individuals in dental pain or discomfort. Emergency treatment is intended to alleviate pain and will be limited in scope, such as tooth extraction in the Oral Surgery Department or temporary restorations in the student provided care clinics. Please contact Oral Surgery at 405-271-4079 for tooth extraction or Student provider care clinic at 405-271-7744 for temporary restoration.

Parking
Complimentary patient and visitor parking is located in Stonewall Garage northeast of the dental building on Stonewall Avenue. A courtesy van operates between the garage and dental building every 3-5 minutes from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Limited parking for physically disabled patients and visitors may be found at the front of our building.
