A temporary or to hire a part or full time hygienist. We are a general dental practice in Shawnee. We see patient Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 to 5:00. We typically schedule an hour and a half for new patients, an hour for an adult prophylaxis, 40 minutes for a child prophylaxis, and an hour per quadrant of S&RP, but each of these are flexible.
Our current hygienist prefers not to have a designated hygiene assistant as we are a pitch in and help one another staff. We are also a very friendly team atmosphere in general with a dedication to detail, ethical care, and aseptic practices. No sales or production quotas, no being asked to perform duties beyond scope and standard of care. We offer competitive compensation and benefits package.
Dr. Hopkins is a general dentist having graduated OU in 1989 and opened his private practice in this location of 18 E. Dunloup, Shawnee, OK in 1993. He is also one of only four general dentists in Oklahoma who holds ABOI board certification in implant dentistry, he teaches all aspects of implant dentistry via Hopkins Implant Institute and is the Director of the Maxicourse Oklahoma City in conjunction with OUCOD beginning in the Fall of 2024.
While he has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years, he is far from being close to retirement and this is not an antiquated practice. In fact, because of his national implant field recognition, we typically have some of the newest equipment available.
