Dr Jaewon Kim graduated Kyungpook National University, School of Dentistry at 2006. He immediately joined Oral and Maxillofacial surgery program at Daegu Fatima Hospital till 2010 as an intern and resident. After that, he served in the army as a public official and head of dental department at Gapyung Health Center, until 2013. During his service, he also did his PhD in Oral Anatomy at Yonsei University, School of Dentistry. During 2016 -2018, he also worked as a general dentist in Vancouver, Canada after obtaining his Canadian dental licensure. His interest in surgery lead him to Periodontics residency program in Buffalo, NY and he also did research under Dr Praveen Arany’s mentorship during 2018 -2021. Currently he is hired in Univ of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry, Division of Periodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor and his focus of research is on clinical applications of 3D printing and scaffold for bone regeneration.
