Oral Pathology Laboratory Service:
The oral pathology laboratory service receives specimen from all over the United States and each biopsy is carefully reviewed by our board certified oral and maxillofacial pathologists. Laboratory support staff can be reached at 405-271-4333 for any questions or concerns.
We provide complimentary biopsy kits that include formalin filled specimen bottles, biopsy requisition forms, and FedEx lab pack with billable stamp (at no charge to the submitting provider). Biopsy kits can be requested by completing the form below:

Oral Pathology Clinical Service:
Clinical consultations and new patient referrals are available through OU Dentistry (Faculty Practice) with both Dr. Ronald Faram and Dr. Kathleen Higgins at the College of Dentistry, 1201 North Stonewall Avenue, Room 494. We treat a variety of local and systemic diseases with oral manifestations. Referrals are required to appoint new patients. New patients in need of TMD evaluations should be referred within the practice to Dr. Joe Franco. Clinical support staff can be reached at 405-271-5714 for any questions or concerns.

Our pathologists do not perform hard or soft tissue biopsies on clinical patients in OU Dentistry. If a biopsy is indicated for your patient please contact OU OMFS at (405)271-4079.
