Prosthetic complications remain a cause of concern with full arch implant reconstructions. They have been reported throughout the life of the prosthesis and can range from minor chipping to catastrophic failures. They add to the treatment costs, chair time, along with the added patient and operator frustration. There has been a plethora of methods for restoring such cases and there is a lack of consensus as to what approach is most predictable. This course would discuss the challenges faced in restoring full arch fixed implant restorations in terms of optimizing workflow, material selection and occlusal considerations. It aims to promote critical thinking needed to identify key areas in designing such prostheses.
