Graduate Orthodontics

Welcome to the home page of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry! The Graduate Orthodontic Program is housed in the College of Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The graduate program was established in 1981 to meet the needs of education, patient care, and research in the field of orthodontics. The Program prepares qualified dentists to manage the full range of dentofacial discrepancies which fall within the responsibility of the orthodontist. State of the art knowledge and research findings are applied to patient care in all age groups. Students learn a variety of treatment modalities under the supervision of experienced and outstanding faculty.  A masters thesis is required. The program leads to a Master of Science degree with Orthodontics as the area of specialization. The 30 month program starts July 1st and finishes December 31st.
